Rory has 10 years of experience in infectious disease research and drug development. His thesis investigated virulence targeting small molecules against P. aeruginosa and is the basis on which Veirulence is founded. Prior to founding Veirulence, Rory worked as a commercial strategy Consultant at Blue Matter. His role supported pharma and biotech company C-suite members and Global Franchise Leads across international markets and all stages of development.

Rory attended the University of Leeds as a Biological Sciences Scholar, where he achieved 1st Class (Hons) in Medical Sciences. He completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge as a Hughes Hall Scholar and a David James Pharmacology Scholar.
