Biomedical Catalyst: Post-accelerator funding competition
We are very pleased to announce that we have received and accepted an official Grant Offer Letter from Innovate UK for a £100k award to continue development of our novel small molecule antimicrobial. The project will focus on critical experiments to validate an expedited route to clinic and to market for our new approach. We are grateful to LYVA Labs for their support during the Future Medicines Accelerator and for their future support on the project execution.

Veirulence is an INCATE (INCubator for Antibacterial Therapies in Europe) stage I winner. INCATE provide support by providing advice, community and funding to accelerate AMR innovation, with a focus on new treatments. The €10,000 award will contribute to the cost of our proof-of-concept study.

Vinnova grant — DOUBLE BARRIER
We are pleased to be awarded a grant by Vinnova as part of an international collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Imperial College London, the National Institutes of Health, and Research Institutes of Sweden. The DOUBLE BARRIER project integrates AI-driven multi-omics diagnostics and next-generation prevention strategies to combat bacterial infections and AMR.
